Ministry of Interior: Youth Housing Subsidy Plan 2025
The Ministry of Interior has announced the 2025 call for applications to participate in the Youth Housing Subsidy Scheme for young couples and individuals up to 41 years old.
This plan is part of the government’s comprehensive housing policy and aims to support and encourage young people to acquire homes.
Plan Details:
The scheme provides financial assistance to young couples (with or without children), young single-parent families, and single young individuals up to 41 years old.
The maximum eligible housing area is 150 m² within specific zones defined by the plan.
At least 400 beneficiaries are expected to benefit from the scheme through the 2024 and 2025 calls, based on priority of application.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be Cypriot citizens or citizens of EU member states.
They must have legally and continuously resided in Cyprus within areas under government control for at least five years prior to application submission.
Eligible Areas in Larnaca District:
Municipality of Larnaca: Larnaca, Livadia, Voroklini.
Municipality of Aradippou: Aradippou, Kellia, Troulloi.
Municipality of Dromolaxia-Meneou: Dromolaxia-Meneou, Kiti, Pervolia, Tersefanou.
Municipality of Lefkara: Pano Lefkara, Vavla, Delikipos, Kato Lefkara, Kornos, Lagia, Skarinou.
Municipality of Athienou: Athienou, Avdellero.
Income Criteria:
Single applicant: Annual income must not exceed €30,000.
Young couple: At least one partner must be under 41 years old, with a combined annual income not exceeding €50,000.
Young family with children (including single-parent families): At least one parent must be under 41 years old, with a combined annual income not exceeding €55,000.
Application Period:
From January 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM until November 30, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
